This race will be the first annual "Go For Joe 5k/3k Fun Run", in efforts to raise money for a beloved friend of the community, Joe Tsogbe! The event is a 5k run, and a 3k walk, starting and ending at Kennedy park, where there will be refreshments and vendors for all participants and volunteers! All participants and volunteers who register before the deadline will receive a complimentary "GO FOR JOE FUN RUN" tee shirt, along with a race bag that you can pick up on the morning of the race at registration. Participants are able to register the day of the event, but are not guaranteed a shirt and race bag, so it is highly encouraged to register ahead of time! 15% of our race proceeds will go directly towards supporting the Sickle Cell Association of New Jersey.
